10 years ago, the Spirits of Mexico concurrently launched in New York City and San Diego CA.  In 2012, we debuted in Chicago at Zocalo to an enthusiastic crowd of 200+ guests.

During the past 10 years, the Spirits of Mexico received eight proclamations officially designating ‘Spirits of Mexico Day/s’, commendations from the Old Town San Diego Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General Mexico as well as notable tributes from ‘O, the Oprah Magazine’, San Diego Magazine,  dozens of additional media outlets and bloggers—and most importantly, the guests who return every year.

Significantly, in the past ten years, the sales of Tequila alone have shown significant double-digit growth. There are now more than 1,260 brands of Tequila on the market, most of which are all the rage, 100% de agaves. Mezcals, Sotols, Bacanora, Raicilla, Liqueurs, Wines and other Spirits of Mexico now await your tasting pleasure.

Come celebrate the distiller’s art. Master distillers and blenders, authors, mixologists, aficionados and ambassadors-from world renowned and new-to-market-brands-all meet to share their skills, experience and, of course, their spirits! Sample dozens of signature styles of all of the spirits produced in Mexico.

Julio created the restaurant's signature drink, the Tommy's margarita, which in 2011 was voted a new era classic cocktail by the IBA and Daniel de Oliveira, an award-winning mixologist and full time brand ambrassador for Olmeca Altos tequila.
